Interview conducted by Esmeralda Meraz as part of the LDS Hispanic American Oral History Project by the Charles Redd Center for Western Studies at Brigham Young University on 4 April 1991. Rojas talks about growing up in Turlock, California and about his family moving there from Mexico. He talks about his experiences growing up as a Mormon, attending Ricks College and Brigham Young University, and as a Mormon missionary in San Bernardino, California. He talks about dating.

Plans for the David O. McKay building began in 1952 after an evaluation by the Brigham Young University College of Education concluded that the existing building for the College of Education were no longer meeting the growing needs of the program. Plans were officially announced in February of 1954 with the completion deadline being set for December of the same year.
